
Andrei Ciubotaru lives and works in his
studio in Bucharest. He began his artistic studies in the United States of America at the
University of Alaska, Anchorage. He continued and completed them at the National University
of Arts in Bucharest, where he obtained the title of phd in visual and decorative arts in
2009.
He is the author of numerous personal, group and collective exhibitions in the country and
abroad. He was the organizer and curator of collective exhibitions both here and abroad. He
has received prizes from professional associations and private organizations. He is a member
of the Union of Plastic Artists in Romania and a member of the Association of Artists from
the Taylor Foundation in Paris. He is currently represented by Lee's gallery in Paris where
he also had the most recent personal exhibition, in February, 2019.
